A glossary of financing and reimbursement terms has been developed for
consumers. This glossary is intended to provide a brief introduction to
terminology used by managed care organizations, federal and state program
administrators, health care providers, and health care insurers.
One objective of this project involves the development of training materials
for the project partners.
To download these presentations to your computer for later viewing and
printing:

PC Users: The presentations should open automatically in your browser, Netscape
Navigator or Internet Explorer. To print the slides, right click your mouse on
the screen in the browser view and select <print>. You will have the option of
printing selected slides or the whole presentation. You may also open the
presentation in PowerPoint and print it.

MAC Users: In either
Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer, you will be asked to save to your
desktop or some other selected area on your computer. Once the presentation has
been saved to your computer, double click on the icon and it will open up if you
have Microsoft PowerPoint installed on your computer. You will be able to print
the slides using PowerPoint.
